“Real Christian unity isn’t driven by ‘sameness’.

You know…‘we all like the same stuff, we all like the same color, we all wear the same clothes, we all watch the same movies, we all have the same politics’.

That’s not us…because anybody can be united when they agree on everything.

Our unity is based on sacrificial love…the love of Jesus, and the love He calls us to have for each other. It’s not about setting aside our differences, but rather appreciating them, and understanding them.

And when that doesn’t work, we recognize our shared brokenness and remember the love that Jesus gives us in spite of it…and we strive to extend that love to each other anyway.”
